Oil Filter Head

Our billet aluminium oil filter heads are a direct replacement for the original item. They are designed with a larger ‘foot’ to reduce potential leaking.

We offer a version with a 3/4 ” UNF threaded hole to take an adaptor for a temperature sensor. Adaptors sold separately here.

This item is offered for those wishing to use an oil cooler. The oil feed pipe thread in the filter head is 1/4 ” NPT so you will need a hose or adaptor to suit this. If you are not running an oil cooler, you might like to consider our kits which include the oil feed hose and adaptors.

It will not work with the factory fitted metal pipe.

Please be aware, that some alternators sit above the point where the sensor fits. This will limit the height available for the sensor. Later alternators are shorter and do not get in the way.

Not only suitable for the Mini, but can also be used on an in-line engine (Midget, Sprite, Morris 1000, etc.). However, you will need a 3mm spacer available here.
