Engine Steady Kit – RHD big bore engines – short

Another unique billet alloy product in the classic Mini RetroSport range, it adds an additional top engine steady by replacing the thermostat housing and picking up on the bulkhead.
If you are fitting this item with one of our heater hose plates, you will need to drill out 3 of the mounting holes in the hose plate. This is to suit the larger bolts supplied with the steady system.

970, 1071 and 1275cc. For use in pre 1990 cars with or without spacer under thermostat housing. Not suitable for use with twin carbs.

Right hand drive only.

Supplied complete with polyurethane bushes.

Anodised black, blue, red or silver.

Please note:

This system fouls the fuel line on early cars fitted with electric fuel pumps. Rerouting the fuel line solves this problem.
